PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEKorea: In 2002 Tony was invited to Seoul as a guest of FIFA 2002 World Cup and the J.W. Marriott Hotel to perform during the World Cup with Australian dance/funk band, Party Vibe. Not long after his return to Australia in late 2002, Tony decided to relocate to Korea where he established his Korean corporation Big Tone Entertainment. During the past few years Tony has performed with many leading Korean musicians such as Eugene Park, Korean traditional percussion group, Puripae, rock band H2O, as well as taking part in the annual Seoul Drum Festival. Tony has also continued to conduct drum clinics and seminars for both elctronic (Roland V-drum) and acoustic drums to share his unique drum technique with emerging Korean drummers. Most of Tony's students go on to study at MI. Australia: Owned and successfully managed a recording/rehearsal studio (Studio 13, Sydney, Australia) and a promotion event management company (Big Tone Management, Sydney, Australia). Tony has been a professional drum teacher since 1985. He has performed countless drum clinics and seminars across Australia for, and as a representative of, his sponsors (Tama drums, Sabian cymbals & Zildjian cymbals). Former member of the popular '80s Australian rock band "The Choirboys", which had #1 hits (Run to Paradise) both in Australia and overseas. Toured Australia with U.S. Artists "CHEAPTRICK". Performed with many covers* and tribute* bands including: Kissteria: The Australian KISS Show, U2 Show, Kylie Minogue Show, Van Halen Show, Madonna, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Black Sabbath, Alanis Morissette, AC/DC, One Hit Wonders, Radio Girl, Baby Animals, Led Zeppelin tribute shows and almost every covers band in Sydney! (* Tribute shows are copies of the original artist in look and sound.) Recorded with numerous Australian bands as a freelance session/recording artist. Has produced and arranged music including working and recording dance/techno music with world famous D.J. "NICK SKITZ" (Skitz Mega Mixes, WildFM, Central Energy). Recorded numerous TV & radio commercials for well-known Australian brands such as Triple M Radio, McDonalds, Better Homes & Gardens, Strathfield Car Radio, Streets, and Beaurepaires. At 17 years of age, set a new duration drumming record by playing the drums non-stop for 24 hours while raising money for The North Rocks Deaf and Blind Children's Home.
